Did you know that Austin is the home of the Spurs D-League team The Austin Toros???

Well, we went to a game this past weekend...it was a weird set up but the kids had fun! Jamie & Madison were selected to participate in the half-time competition...they came in 2nd (out of 2 teams:)

P.S. these mini remote controlled INDOOR helicopters have been a hit with the boys...poor Mads has had Austin's tangled in her hair 2 times so far!

Gingerbread House...what a mess!

The kids made Gingerbread Houses this year...what a messy BUT fun project! By the time the kids were done there was frosting and candy EVERYWHERE!

I am having flashbacks!

Madison started basketball this season...she LOVES it! We bought her a basketball goal that Poppy put up & has practiced just about everyday! When she started about 2 months ago she had no clue which was offense and which was defense...she had never even been to a "real" basketball game.

Well the basketball season came to an end a couple of weeks ago...during her last game of the season she scored her FIRST basket and fouled out...what 7 year old fouls out???MINE:) I was one proud mommy!

Playing Catch Up...Thanksgiving

We have been REALLY BUSY so I am going to platy catch up...AGAIN!

Jamie came home November 21st and it has been wonderful!

Thanksgiving...was awesome with the WHOLE family! We have so much to be thankful for this year!

After our Thanksgiving meal we headed to Dallas for a hockey tourney...Austin's team played AWESOME and won the tourney!!!

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins last night...oh my gosh!

Madison's pumpkin was easy! She did most of the work by herself. Austin's that is another story! When he picked out the pumpkin he found one that had warts...it looked REALLY cool! Well, it was so hard to cut! I ended up getting put the hack saw & drill...I am not kidding! I even suggested trying to just smash it in the street...we were afraid it would just bounce back up and hit us in the face:)

Madison went to a birthday party for one of the Hockey Sistas...they had their hair done & make-up applied...she looked SO grown up...Daddy come home SOON!

The past 2 days have been EXCITING for Austin...I think I have a few NEW grey hairs & a NEW wrinkle or two! He went 4 wheeling for the first time yesterday...then went AGAIN today & because that is not dangerous enough he learned how to ride a dirt bike today...can you guess what he wanted to add to his Christmas list when he came home this afternoon??? Daddy come home SOON!!

We Have Pumpkins!

I took the kids out of school a little early today so that we could go find pumpkins & Austin a halloween costume. He wasn't sure if he wanted to dress up or not...after we struck out at Wally World & Target...We tried a costume store in Round Rock...jackpot! He found a hockey jersey with Jason's mask on front & a Jason mask to wear...he is stoked!
