Look for us at the 2020 Summer Olympics!

Well, maybe not but we are making waves on our 2008 Summer Swim Team!!

Austin swam the breast stroke (placed 2nd), backstroke (placed 1st) and the 50 freestyle(placed 3rd)...for his relay he swam with the older kids in the 200 Freestyle relay (each leg has to swim 50)...they took 1st! The best part was the backstroke...this usually is Madison's best event but the coaches got confused & entered Austin in the backstroke & Mads in the butterfly (usually Austin's best event)...anyway Austin was not excited about doing the backstroke, he even wanted to scratch BUT I gave him the "it can only make you better" speech & he agreed to swim...next thing I know he is kicking booty & takes 1st place!!! This from the kid that caused swim practice to be cancelled last year because he was swimming back stroke, swallowed too much H2O & lost his breakfast!

Mads also had a great meet!!! She moved up a age group this year...7&8 yr olds and is doing AWESOME for being on e of the younger ones!!! She swam freestyle (placed 5th), breast stroke (placed 8th) & the butterfly (placed 6th)...for her relay she swam the 100 freestyle and they placed 2nd!!!
