Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins last night...oh my gosh!

Madison's pumpkin was easy! She did most of the work by herself. Austin's that is another story! When he picked out the pumpkin he found one that had warts...it looked REALLY cool! Well, it was so hard to cut! I ended up getting put the hack saw & drill...I am not kidding! I even suggested trying to just smash it in the street...we were afraid it would just bounce back up and hit us in the face:)

HELP!!!...Daddy come home SOON!

Madison went to a birthday party for one of the Hockey Sistas...they had their hair done & make-up applied...she looked SO grown up...Daddy come home SOON!
The past 2 days have been EXCITING for Austin...I think I have a few NEW grey hairs & a NEW wrinkle or two! He went 4 wheeling for the first time yesterday...then went AGAIN today & because that is not dangerous enough he learned how to ride a dirt bike today...can you guess what he wanted to add to his Christmas list when he came home this afternoon??? Daddy come home SOON!!

We Have Pumpkins!

I took the kids out of school a little early today so that we could go find pumpkins & Austin a halloween costume. He wasn't sure if he wanted to dress up or not...after we struck out at Wally World & Target...We tried a costume store in Round Rock...jackpot! He found a hockey jersey with Jason's mask on front & a Jason mask to wear...he is stoked!

Madison's Field Trip

Madison had a field trip to Georgetown Museum & The Courthouse....Mads took all the pics except the one of her class.

OK...I need an adult beverage!

This morning I walked outside to take the kids to school & this is what I found...

Not only did they get my car BUT also 2 others across the street! The only thing they took....Austin's DS & games! He could NOT understand why they did not take his hockey sticks...I had to remind him that this IS Texas & not many people here know about hockey! Mads is a tad bit freaked out by all this! But glad that they left her protable dvd player (it was all the way in the back of the car). As if I had nothing to do today...well actually I was going to meet a friend at the Outlet Mall to excercise;) But as I was cleaning the broken glass out of the car I really started to get PI$$ed off! WHy don't these LOSERS get jobs & leave me and my fam (and neighbors) alone!!!!

Month in review...

I cannot believe that it has been a month since my last post (except for the one earlier today)... We all are doing well & looking forward to Jamie coming home! What have we been up to???Well, Mads & Austin are both doing AWESOME in school!
Mads is on the swim team & loves it! She will also start basketball in a few weeks...she has been dribbling up & down the sidewalk:)

Austin is playing hockey again this year & having a blast! The team is doing awesome!

Here are some random pics from the past month!
One weekend while in Dallas some of the players from the hockey team went to a Dallas Stars practice/scrimmage (ILOVEMORROW) which was then followed by autographs...here are the boys & Mads waiting patiently.

We had no idea who this guy was BUT you should have seen his bling!!! Turns out he was one of the better players...Ribeiro (in our defense he used to have long hair:)! The kids got a few other autographs BUT we had to leave to get to one of their games! No MORROW...i was a tad bit disappointed! The kids celebrating 2 MONTHS left until Jamie's return...I did take pics but never posted them! We are now @ 43 days until he is back in the USA!!! WooWoo!

OH MY GOSH!!

IF YOU LIVE HERE IN TEXAS YOU PROBABLY HEARD A STRANGE NOISE TODAY AROUND NOON...IT WAS ME SCREAMING!
I CAME HOME FROM RUNNING ERRANDS THIS MORNING PUSHED THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER & AS I DROVE UP THE DRIVEWAY I SPOTTED A SNAKE MAKING IT'S WAY INTO THE GARAGE...I PUSHED THE BUTTON AGAIN THINKING IT WOULD EITHER SCARE IT AWAY OR COME DOWN ON IT...NOPE, NEITHER! IN THE GARAGE IT WENT! I AM SURE I WAS A SIGHT...STANDING ON A COOLER USING JAMIE'S HOCKEY STICK TO MOVE THINGS AROUND...HONEY, WHEN YOU GET HOME THE GARAGE WILL BE CLEANED OUT & NOTHING WILL TOUCH THE GROUND!...ANYWAY, I FINALLY FOUND THE SNAKE & BANGED THE HOCKEY STICK TO MAKE IT MOVE TOWARDS THE GARAGE DOOR, WELL ON IT'S WAY OUT IT SLITHERED UP A WALL INTO A FOLDING CHAIR. I USED THE HOCKEY STICK...I'M STILL ON THE COOLER...AND PUSHED/THREW THE CHAIR TO THE DRIVEWAY. I THOUGHT THE SNAKE WOULD JUST LEAVE, NO SO I STARTED SMACKING THE CHAIR WITH THE HOCKEY STICK, I MUST HAVE INJURED THE SNAKE BECAUSE IT STARTED HISSING AT ME...IT THEN PROCEEDED TO SLITHER IT'S WAY UNDER THE SUBURBAN & THEN UP INTO THE ENGINE AREA. I QUICKLY TURNED THE SUBURBAN ON & WATCHED FOR IT TO SLITHER OUT...NOTHING. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES I TURNED THE ENGINE OFF BUT STILL WATCHED AS I WANTED TO SEE THE SNAKE LEAVE...AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE I SEE/HEAR A THUD...THE SNAKE FELL OUT FROM THE ENGINE AREA ALMOST DEAD! I THEN MOVED THE COOLER & GRABBED A SHOVEL TO MAKE SURE IT WAS DEAD...I THEN MOVED IT OVER TO THE EMPTY LOT BY OUR HOUSE BUT THE SNAKE WAS STILL WIGGLING...I PUT THE SNAKE DOWN & WHACKED HIS HEAD OFF...I AM READY TO MOVE TO THE CITY!!WHO NEEDS GRASS???MY KIDS CAN PLAY AT A PARK!
